Thank you for taking the time to look at my site.

My name is Keith and I am a seven year old [at Dec 2003] German Shepherd Dog.

I acquired my present owners when I was two years of age. At that time I had already had three different owners in the two years of my life. As a result I was very unsettled and was not looking forward to another move. I was also a bit scruffy having not had much in the way of a brushing.

Mavis and Keith [yes the same name as myself and more about this later] made me very welcome and as I had always lived outside bought me a lovely large kennel with nice comfy bedding. One very cold night shortly after I moved into my new home Mavis said let him spend a night indoors to see if he will get used to it. It took me about two minutes to get used to it and I have lived indoors ever since. I love being stretched out in front of their large open fire on a cold day. But I do look after the house for them when they are out and bark at people coming up the driveway to the house.

Each morning at about 8am they take me for a two mile walk to stretch my legs and I go shorter walks during the day so I am quite happy to spend the rest of the time just lying around, eating, watching the TV. and barking at the cat who lives next door which sometimes has the cheek to come into our garden and stare at me through the window.

Turning now to the name problem of the two Keiths. Unfortunately I will not answer to any other name [M & K did try but it just would not work.] This was causing problems with Christmas presents as I always get more presents than anybody else so persons sending me Christmas presents now address them to 'Little Keith' to make sure that they end up in the correct paws.

I go on holiday with M & K, usually in our caravan [pictures on later pages]. But this year we all went to the Kingdom of Fife on a special dogs training holiday where I went on long walks in the hills, went in a canoe and did training activities like jumping over hurdles and learned how to take various instructions [just to humour M & K] etc - more about this later.
